Sweezylab · Last updated 18 October 2026
This explains what personal information Sweezylab (“we”, “us”) collects when you use Sweezylab, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. We are the controller of the information described here. You can reach us at danieljobs231@outlook.com.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your email address, your name if you give one, and your password. Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, so we cannot read them.
- Sign-in with Google: if you choose “Continue with Google”, Google tells us your name, your email address and your Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
- Your scripts: the text of the script you give us, or the one our AI writes for you. It is sent to our server to write scenes and image prompts (see section 3).
- YouTube links and transcripts: when you paste a YouTube link, we read the video's public title and its captions (transcript) to suggest titles and write a script. The transcript is held only briefly in memory while you work and is not saved in our database; we keep the title and script you choose to use.
- Voiceover orders: the text you send to be turned into a voice, the voice and speed you chose, and the order's status and price. We do not keep the finished audio on our server; it is passed to you to download.
- Credit and payment records: your credit balance and history, and each purchase (the pack, amount, status and a payment reference). We do not see or store your card number or bank login; those go directly to our payment provider.
- Usage records: technical records of each AI request (when it happened, how large it was and what it cost us), so we can run the Service, prevent abuse and keep costs under control. These records do not contain your script text.
- Sign-in cookie: a cookie that keeps you signed in. It is needed for the Service to work and we do not use it for advertising.
- Drafts on your device: to save your place, your browser keeps what you are typing or making on the New Project page (your script, settings and a voiceover file) on your own device. We do not receive it until you create the project. You can clear it with the Clear button.
- Update checks: the installed program asks our server which version is newest and tells it which version you have.
- Messages to us: anything you send when you ask for support.
Your voiceover, your images and the CapCut project stay on your own computer in the installed program. We do not ask for your Google account password; you sign in to Google yourself in your own Chrome window.
2. Why we use it
- To create and run your account and provide the Service you asked for (this is necessary to carry out our agreement with you).
- To take payments, add credits, return held credits and answer payment questions.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse (for example free-trial abuse) and control our costs.
- To get in touch about your account, your videos or changes to the Service.
- To meet legal and accounting duties.
3. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed, with companies that help us run the Service:
- Our AI writing providers (Anthropic's Claude and Google's Gemini): your script text, and a video's transcript when you use the YouTube link tool, are sent to them so that they can write titles, scripts, scenes and image prompts. They handle it under their own terms and privacy rules.
- Our transcript service: when you paste a YouTube link, the link is sent to a transcript service (currently transcriptapi.com) to fetch the video's captions.
- Our voice provider (AI33) and the voice engines it uses: the text you choose to turn into a voiceover, with the voice and speed, is sent to them to make the audio.
- Google (sign-in): if you use “Continue with Google”, Google handles that sign-in under its own terms and privacy rules.
- Our payment provider (Bachs): receives the information needed to process your payment, such as your payment details and the amount.
- Our hosting and database providers: store the information on our behalf.
- Email provider: if you turn on email notifications, your email address and the message are passed to the company that sends them.
We do not sell your personal information. We may also share information if the law or a court requires it.
4. Sending data outside Nigeria
Some of these companies store or process information in other countries. When we use them we take steps to protect your information as the law requires.
5. How long we keep it
- Account details: for as long as your account is open, and for a short time after you close it.
- Payment and credit records: for as long as the law requires us to keep financial records.
- Usage records: for as long as we need them to run, secure and account for the Service.
- When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.
6. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you have rights over your personal data, including to:
- ask what we hold about you and get a copy;
- have wrong information corrected;
- ask us to delete your information, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
- object to, or ask us to limit, some uses of it;
- take back a consent you gave, and ask for your data in a form you can move elsewhere, where the law gives you that right.
To use any of these, write to danieljobs231@outlook.com. We may need to check it is really you. If you are not happy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
7. Keeping it safe
We protect information with measures such as storing passwords only in hashed form, using secure connections, keeping our AI and payment keys on our server and out of the installed program, and limiting who can access our systems. No system is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. If a breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
8. Children
The Service is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app or by email. The date at the top shows when it was last updated. See also our Terms of Service.
