How to make a faceless long-form YouTube video with AI

A faceless video uses narration and pictures instead of a person on camera. It suits storytelling, history, science and explainer channels. Here is a practical way to make one from start to finish.

1. Pick a topic people already search for

Look at videos in your niche that have a lot of views, then note what questions they answer. Your video should answer the same question with a clearer angle, a better story or newer facts, not repeat what they said.

2. Write the script first

For a long video the script is the product. Aim for one idea per section, a strong opening in the first 30 seconds, and a reason to keep watching every few minutes. A 20-minute video is roughly 2,800 to 3,200 spoken words.

Sweezylab can draft a script of 5 to 60 minutes in sections from a YouTube link you want to learn from, and suggests three scored titles. Always read and edit it so it says what you want to say.

3. Record or generate the voiceover

Clear audio matters more than anything else in a faceless video. You can record your own voice, or use an AI voiceover. Sweezylab offers English AI voices with a choice of voice and speed, and the voiceover is made on the website.

4. Make a picture for every scene

Split the script into scenes and give each one a picture in the same visual style, so the video feels like one world. In Sweezylab this step runs in the app on your own Windows PC or Mac, using your own Google Chrome and Google account, and keeps the characters looking the same from scene to scene.

5. Time it to the voiceover and polish

Each picture should stay on screen while its line is spoken. Slow zooms and soft transitions keep it from feeling static. Then open the result in CapCut to trim, add music or fix anything before you upload.

Things to know before you publish

YouTube may not pay for content that is repeated, mass-produced or copied from others, so add your own research, angle and editing. AI pictures can have mistakes, so check each scene. Sweezylab is not an official Google or CapCut product, and its picture step can stop working if they change something.
